Our time in port is scheduled from September 20 to 24, 2017

We will be home ported out of the Holiday Inn Bayside. The room rate is $129 a night. Bayside will provide free
parking and airport shuttle.  The rates are good 3 days prior and post reunion.  Call the hotel at 800-662-8899 for
The first day, Wednesday Sept. 20th is for Whale Watching for those that sign up by May 30, 2017. Blue Whales which
are the largest of the whales running during the time of the reunion. You may also see Humpback Whales
plus Bottle Nose, Long Nose and Short Nose dolphins.

Thursday Sept. 21 has 2 tours. In the morning the morning tour goes to the USS Midway, Bob Hope Memorial, Balboa
Park, Coronado Island past the historic Del Coronado Hotel. Lunch is included at the Bali Hai Restaurant. The tour will
also stop at Liberty Place and the USS Recruit in the old Naval training center.

Thursday evening tour is dinner out at Casa de Guadalajara in lively Old Town District of San Diego. Dinner starts with
a Margarita and additional drinks will be available at your cost. The plated dinners will be available in chicken or beef

Friday morning is a tour to San Diego Zoo Safari Park. This huge park has a lot to do and you may have to choose
what is best to see. Lunch will be on your own.

Friday evening tour is dinner at the Spaghetti Factory in historic Gas Lamp District. There is a choice of 3 meals:
spaghetti with Marinara sauce, or pasta Alfredo, or spaghetti with meat balls.

Saturday is an all day tour including a Harbor cruise that will feature Point Loma. The sub Base, Loading for
Ammunition and Cargo Ships sailing past NAACO the shipyards, 32nd Street Naval Base, under the Coronado Bridge
and past the carriers in port. Lunch is included at Tom Hams Lighthouse waterside on Harbor Island. The tour ends with
a drive by opportunity to photograph the Lolla Sea Caves and beach a favorite of seals and sea lions


Saturday Evening is the Banquet Dinner at the hotel featuring a choice between Beef Bourguignon, Salmon or  
Macadamia Nut Chicken.

It should be noted that the reunions are expertly planned, coordinated and orchestrated by a very dedicated group.
Tours and activities are conducted with the utmost care for the people attending. All functions are family oriented where
everyone is welcome.
